Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking an Audit Specialist for our Internal Audit team in Makati. The role covers audits, investigations, and assessments aligned with the annual plan, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and ethics.

You will conduct spot audits, document findings, and assist in updating audit program guides. We welcome fresh graduates and professionals with a background in accounting and internal auditing, and you must be willing to perform fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• Internal Auditing knowledge considered a plus.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork.
• Professional certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits, investigations, and assessments per annual plan.
• Attend and document initial/soft exit conferences.
• Submit audit working papers to Audit Team Leader.
• Provide administrative reports (attendance, expenses, DAR).
• Consolidate the Department's DAR and prepare referrals.
• Draft and submit AARs for review.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy

Internal Auditing certification (advantage)
