Job summary

Greenmark Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer with airfield/airport experience to monitor renovation, rehabilitation and upgrading works, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders. The role requires independent work capability and strong quality control on site.

Candidates should have a civil engineering degree and IES registration, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant site experience in airfield projects. Night shifts or extended hours may be required for airfield works.

Responsibilities

• Monitor renovation, rehabilitation and upgrading works on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and method statements.
• Supervise pavement works: excavation, sub-base, concrete/asphalt, joints and reinstatement.
• Monitor site testing and inspections to meet quality requirements.
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers and airport stakeholders.
• Enforce FOD prevention, housekeeping and work-zone control in airside areas.
• Maintain daily site records and progress reports.
• Ensure construction activities do not impact airport/aircraft operations.
• Assist the Resident Engineer and Project Manager with technical coordination.

• Ensure construction activities do not adversely affect airport and aircraft operations.
• Assist the Resident Engineer / Project Manager with technical and site coordination matters.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Register with IES.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience preferred.
• Airfield / airport construction experience is required.
• Experience in rehabilitation / upgrading works is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with contractors and project teams.
• Willing to work night shifts / extended hours when required for airfield works.
