Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on-site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and the Employer’s Requirements
• Responsible for close coordination with the Proponent’s Management Team to ensure that the planning, design, and execution of the Contractor and Consultant will be completed on time and within budget.
• Facilitate meetings with the Proponent to update on the progress and status of the project.
• Work closely with Contractor’s Management Team, Consultant’s Management, and local regulatory authorities.
• Responsible for monitoring and reviewing the technical and contractual documents from the Contractor and Consultant.
• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system.
• Monitoring of reclamation and geotechnical works, including identification of any non‑conformance of the Contractor’s and Consultant’s work on site.
• Formulate recommendations for the Proponent for various technical, contractual and construction‑related matters.
• Well‑versed with FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Plant & Design Build (2nd Edition 2017).
• Conduct regular checks on the works of the Contractor to ensure compliance with health and work safety.
• Ensure the Common Data Environment (CDE) is in place, and the process is followed by all members of the project team.
