Join Tether as a Research Engineer Intern to develop and optimize state‑of‑the‑art LLM, video, and multimodal models within a pioneering digital finance company.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Research and develop state‑of‑the‑art LLM and/or video or multimodality models to accelerate open‑source progress.
- Implement large model applications in business scenarios including pre‑training, supervised fine‑tuning, post‑training, and inference.
- Continuously optimize the distributed training framework for large models on thousands of multi‑node GPUs.
- Collaborate with broader teams across Tether to advance open‑source LLM, vision, and multimodal foundation models and products.
About You
The company is looking for:
- MSc or PhD candidate in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Research experience in at least one of the following areas: LLM, computer vision, or multimodality.
- Proficiency with PyTorch deep learning framework and libraries.
- Publications in top AI conferences (e.g., ACL, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, IJCV) are a plus.
