Job summary

Universidad de Alicante is inviting applications for a research staff position as an assistant researcher in the IT and Computing Department, within the health and aging research line. The contract is temporary with 37.5 hours per week and a fixed monthly remuneration of €1,644 gross.

The selected candidate will join a funded project on privacy-aware video-based technologies to support active and healthy living, with potential future project moves within the same line of research.

Qualifications

• General eligibility to work in Spain and meet recruitment requirements.
• Master’s degree with equivalent content as specified in the call.

Responsibilities

• Assist in securing ethical approvals for the project and develop related documentation.
• Assist in recruiting participants, coordinating with healthcare centres and user organisations.
• Contribute to deployment and monitoring of the AAL system in participants' homes.
• Support data management and real-time analysis to refine system performance.
• Assist in preparing strategic communications and dissemination materials for the project.
• Participate in organizing international conferences, workshops and seminars.
