Job summary

Gruppo EMS Inc. is seeking a technically skilled technician to support cable management, repair, assembly and rebuilding initiatives in Laguna, Philippines.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance of legacy cable systems and effective collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have vocational training in electronics/electrical fields and experience with inventory control, documentation, and SAP-based transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience with cable management, repair, assembly and rebuilding.
• Familiar with legacy equipment cable systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience in line support and resolving cable-related equipment issues.
• Basic knowledge of socket repair, maintenance, and inspection.
• Experience in conversion kit monitoring, inventory control and documentation.
• Knowledge of spare parts and SPM inventory management.
• Familiarity with SAP transactions for inventory monitoring and material withdrawal/issuance.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and other support teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair cable systems to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist engineering and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Monitor inventory levels and document parts usage and availability.
• Support line operations and ensure fast resolution of cable-related issues.
• Keep accurate records and documentation for maintenance activities.
