Job summary

Qualifications

• CPA certification and 4 years of accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of PAS/PFRS and Philippine tax requirements.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Netsuite and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and reporting packs.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and journal entries.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, depreciation, provisions, and intercompany postings.
• Maintain schedules and supporting docs for revenue, receivables, assets, and liabilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze account movements, trends, variances, and unusual items.
• Ensure compliance with PAS/PFRS and tax requirements.
• Provide schedules and documents for internal and external audits.
• Develop and update accounting processes and reporting procedures.
• Act as custodian of Netsuite; support system enhancements/testing.
• Monitor tax filings, payments, and e-submissions by external provider.
• Prepare reporting to regulatory agencies (DOE, BOI, LGUs).
• Issue and safeguard sales invoices.
• Assist in tax refunds.
• Handle other general accounting and financial reporting tasks.
