Job summary

Chicken Dinner Studios is seeking a skilled Web Developer to build and customize websites using WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or Framer. You will translate design concepts into pixel-perfect pages, implement themes and plugins, and collaborate with Designers, Developers, and the SEO team to ensure high-quality digital experiences.

The role requires 2–3 years in web development, familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and strong attention to responsive design and UX fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Web Developer specializing in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Framer, or Squarespace.
• 1 year of startup agency experience.
• Ability to interpret design principles and visual hierarchy when building pages.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and converting Figma designs to pixel-accurate sites.
• Understanding of basic SEO including performance, metadata, and optimisation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with designers, PMs, and SEO specialists.

Responsibilities

• Build and customise websites using WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or Framer with guidance from project managers and senior developers.
• Develop responsive, mobile-friendly web pages based on approved designs.
• Assist with implementing themes, templates, plugins, and basic third-party integrations.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and SEO team to translate UI/UX concepts into functional web pages.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members.
• Keep code and project files clean and organized, following team standards.
• Maintain documentation and project trackers, updating stakeholders as needed.
• Complete assigned tasks within given timelines.
• Learn from code reviews and feedback to improve skills.
