A remote services company is seeking a passionate Virtual Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their team. This full-time position requires at least 2-3 years of experience and proficiency with QuickBooks or Xero. The successful candidate will need to communicate effectively with clients in English and be available to work California hours. This is a permanent remote position based in Cebu, Philippines.

We are looking for a strong and passionate Virtual Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our global team in a permanently remote work set-up as a full-time employee. The successful candidate will work directly for our US-based client. For this role, we only process candidates that are based in Cebu, Philippines.

About the Client:

  • A professional accounting firm, providing primarily tax and bookkeeping services
  • Based in California, USA

Key Responsibilities:

1. As a primary role,performs the following Virtual Assistant tasks:

  • Answer phone
  • Help with client onboarding
  • Follow-up with client leads
  • Request missing information from clients
  • Billing and AR (e.g., creating invoices, sending invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding AR, etc.)

2. As a secondary role, performs bookkeeping tasks (e.g., support the local US bookkeeper, keeping the clients books, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Meaningful experience (at least 2-3 years) as a Virtual Assistant (preferably with U.S. client)
  • Must be very comfortable speaking with clients in English
  • Proficient with QuickBooks or Xero accounting software
  • Willing and able to work in California working hours (PST)
  • Available full-time (at least 40 hours per week)
