Job summary

Hyre is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join a fast-paced, client-facing team. You will edit both short-form and long-form content for delivery across digital platforms, ensuring brand-aligned storytelling and timely delivery.

The role requires 1–2 years of video editing experience, strong portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. It is a 100% remote, full-time position with US-hours alignment and strict deadlines. A noise-free home setup and reliable internet are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2 years of professional video editing experience and a strong portfolio.
• High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and comfort with file management tools, Slack, and Notion.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple edits under fixed deadlines.
• Must have a dedicated, noise-free home office with reliable internet and backup power.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into final versions for client delivery with transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and sound design.
• Format deliverables for 1:1, 16:9, 9:16 aspect ratios across platforms.
• Ensure content adheres to brand style guides and client expectations; manage revisions efficiently.
• Organize project files and assets using Google Drive and Dropbox.
• Collaborate with creative and project-management teams via Slack and Notion to meet deadlines.
