Diane Pendle, Inc, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 2 years of Australian accounting experience to support our offshore finance operations from the Philippines. This remote role requires accurate reporting, reconciliation, and adherence to GAAP/IFRS.

You will work closely with the onshore team, handle month-end close, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring timely financial statements and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification (completed or in progress) is a plus.
• GAAP/IFRS knowledge required.
• Experience with Xero & MYOB preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare Financial Statements and BAS preparation.
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Year-end reporting for payroll.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Communicate and collaborate with onshore finance team members.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management.
