Job summary

TransPerfect Connect is seeking bilingual interpreters (English & Spanish) for a remote role based in the Philippines. The position involves consecutive interpretation across medical, legal, and customer service contexts, with paid training and ongoing coaching.

Ideal candidates have professional-level command of both languages, strong listening skills, and the ability to work in a structured call-center environment. Training covers interpretation techniques and note-taking.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish with at least B2+ proficiency.
• Ability to pass a language and interpreting skills assessment.
• Experience in call center, customer service, or interpreting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish across industries (medical, legal, customer service).
• Ensure accuracy, neutrality, and preservation of tone and emotion.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
• Manage call flow professionally and request clarification when needed.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence in high-pressure interactions.
• Follow interpretation protocols and avoid giving personal opinions.
