Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to find a Senior Security Engineer based in Spain to shape security across a large-scale digital platform and distributed environment. You will design architectures, automate security controls, and drive threat detection and incident response initiatives.

You will lead Security-as-Code, work with CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers while improving security standards and governance across the org.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Information Security Engineering and deploying security systems at scale.
• Ability to translate security policies into concrete technical standards and drive initiatives.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS and/or GCP, including secure multi-tenant architectures.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native security and Kubernetes, with IAM and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response across platforms.
• Lead Security-as-Code, automated SAST/DAST/SSS in CI/CD pipelines.
• Own end-to-end vulnerability management and remediation prioritization.
• Set engineering standards, runbooks, and documentation across the security function.
• Mentor junior security engineers and raise team capabilities.
