Lightspeed in Manila is seeking a Quality Specialist II to join our agile squad and drive quality across product, design, and engineering teams. You will own QA activities, design test plans, and help expand automated test coverage to deliver reliable customer experiences.

You'll collaborate across platforms, support release planning, and champion quality best practices in a fast-growing, inclusive tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience dedicated Software Quality Assurance.
• Experience testing business processes and integrations across platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and Intercom.
• Proven experience working with bug tracking and management systems in a quality-focused role.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience testing high-availability web applications across test, staging, and production environments.
• Understanding of integration and contract testing, with experience using Postman or similar tools to test API connections considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own quality assurance activities within your squad, partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
• Act as a quality subject matter expert for your team’s domain, developing and maintaining regression test coverage for new and existing functionality.
• Promote quality best practices by guiding testing activities and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and user requirements.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, including boundary, edge-case, and end-to-end scenario testing.
• Support other squads when needed by sharing knowledge, contributing to cross-functional testing efforts, and fostering collaboration across the Quality team.
• Investigate defects using a variety of troubleshooting techniques and monitoring tools, providing actionable feedback to improve product quality and reliability.
• Contribute to release planning by assessing testing progress, identifying risks, and helping teams make informed delivery decisions.
• Partner with automation teams by identifying suitable test scenarios, documenting test cases, and supporting the expansion of automated test coverage.
