Job summary

Teamified is supporting a leading payments technology client in a three-month PCI DSS security engineering contract. You will drive the compliance cycle, implement controls across the cardholder data environment, and assemble evidence for the Attestation of Compliance.

You will work with the client’s engineering and operations teams to define log sources, tune detection rules in a Wazuh SIEM, manage vulnerability remediation, and document the process for potential QSA-led validation.

Qualifications

• PCI DSS experience, ideally v4.x
• Hands-on AWS security engineering: IAM policy design, VPC/network segmentation, logging, key management
• SIEM or centralised log platforms experience in a compliance context including log source onboarding
• Vulnerability management, logging and monitoring, secure configuration baselines
• Ability to plan, track, and report independently; strong written English

Responsibilities

• Implement and verify technical controls across the cardholder data environment
• Deliver logging/monitoring requirements to version 4.0.1 standard
• Collaborate with DevOps to roll out SIEM (Wazuh) and define sources and coverage
• Define alert triage and response routines
• Complete SAQ D for Service Providers and assemble evidence set
• Maintain PCI DSS documentation and diagrams
• Coordinate external vulnerability scans and remediation
• Coordinate penetration testing and remediation
• Maintain third-party due diligence documentation
• Own the delivery plan and weekly leadership reporting
• Strengthen change management and document repeatable routines
