Job summary

Gabtech Global is seeking compassionate Reading Tutors to provide one-on-one online reading instruction to students in Grades 3–8. Tutors will work with learners who need targeted support to strengthen foundational reading skills, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Ideal candidates include teachers, education graduates, or experienced tutors who enjoy individualized instruction and monitoring progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, English, Education, Reading, Language Arts, Special Education, or related field.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Experience teaching reading, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
• Ability to work with students at different learning levels.
• Proficient with Zoom or Google Meet.
• Reliable computer, headset, webcam, and stable internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one online reading tutoring to Grades 3–8.
• Deliver structured lessons based on each student’s level and needs.
• Help students strengthen phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and vocabulary.
• Assess progress and document results after each tutoring session.
• Follow Waypoint’s reading intervention program and materials.
