Job summary

LevelUp, a specialist outsourcing agency, seeks a mid-level Software Developer (Next.js) with 3–5 years of production experience to join our team.

The role is full-time and remote, based in the Philippines, working with our Brisbane team in AEST hours. You will own end-to-end web apps, translate designs into components, and build secure integrations while contributing to QA, deployment, and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
3–5 years of commercial production experience.
Strong written English communication required.
Experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
Experience with Azure cloud and CI/CD tooling.
Ability to design, build, and ship production-grade web apps.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship robust web applications using Next.js and modern JavaScript.
Translate rough designs into reusable components and interfaces.
Build secure integrations between HR/payroll platforms and internal tooling.
Deploy and manage apps in Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD pipelines.
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
Monitor production systems and contribute to root-cause fixes.
Collaborate with operations, product, and leadership to plan work.
