Job summary

Kwanii is seeking a Mobile App Developer for a one-time, project-based engagement to enhance, optimize, and improve an existing mobile application.

You will assess the current app and codebase, identify performance issues, implement enhancements, and ensure stability. Responsibilities include debugging, API integration, testing, and documentation, with turnover of code and credentials on completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mobile app enhancement, maintenance, or optimization.
• Demonstrable experience with an existing mobile app or codebase.
• Portfolio or project samples showing mobile development work.
• Proficiency in Flutter, React Native, Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift).
• Experience with API integration and backend connectivity.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess the existing mobile application's source code, architecture, functionality, and performance.
• Identify issues, bottlenecks, bugs, and areas for improvement.
• Enhance and optimize existing features as per project requirements.
• Improve app speed, responsiveness, stability, and user experience.
• Refactor code for maintainability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, and issues.
• Review and improve API integrations and backend connectivity as applicable.
• Prepare optimized build for deployment and maintain version control.
• Provide technical documentation and turnover upon completion.
• Offer post-project support for identified issues.
