Job summary

SME Careers is seeking an experienced localization specialist for an hourly, fully remote contractor role reviewing and generating Chinese content and AI prompts. You will assess AI responses for accuracy, clarity, and reasoning, while ensuring correct Mandarin localization and English handling.

You will apply MQM/LQA concepts to improve model outputs, write high-quality explanations, and provide feedback across time zones. Prior AI data training experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in translation or related field.
• Native or near-native Mandarin with strong English proficiency.
• 5+ years of localization/translation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content with prompts and model responses.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, clarity and relevance.
• Identify errors in methodology and provide expert feedback.
