Job summary

Search Atlas is seeking a Lead Accountant to run daily and monthly financial processes for a US-based operation while working remotely from the Philippines. You will own cash forecasting, revenue tracking, and close processes, providing timely management reports and maintaining tax and compliance calendars.

You should bring 5+ years of US accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, Stripe, or HubSpot.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience working directly for US based companies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP. (A CPA license is a bonus)
• Comfortable in QuickBooks and similar tools.
• Experience with Ramp, Stripe, or HubSpot is a plus.
• Hands on experience building or using AI tools in your accounting work. Tell us what you've built.
• Able to work EST or PST hours

Responsibilities

• Report the daily cash position and run the rolling 13-week cash forecast.
• Own AR and collections and review expenses before they surprise.
• Run month end close and prepare the monthly management reporting package.
• Review headcount and payroll monthly; report MRR, ARR, and retention metrics.
• Own the tax and filing compliance calendar to ensure nothing is missed.
