Job summary

HumanSignal is seeking freelance Graphic Designers to rate and edit design samples to train AI models. This remote, project-based role pays per accepted task and offers weekly payouts.

You’ll evaluate typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy, following detailed rubrics to ensure consistency across large volumes of slides. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in graphic design or related fields, a design/arts credential, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Education in design or arts (degree or certificate).
• 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer, SMM specialist, or marketing professional.
• Strong grasp of composition, color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, and overall design effectiveness.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
• Openness to feedback and recalibration.

Responsibilities

• Rate design samples for typography, visual hierarchy, design execution, color, layout, and overall polish.
• Follow rubrics to keep ratings consistent across high volumes of samples.
• Identify and address flaws in slides, from minor font-size issues to full reconstructions.
• Edit flawed slides using other slides as reference to create cohesion across designs.
• Flag edge cases and unclear examples.
