Job summary

Safety Management Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to build SaaS applications for a U.S.-headquartered EH&S company.

You will develop JavaScript integrations, manage data flows across websites, SFTP clients, and Google Cloud Functions, and collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver robust solutions. Must be detail-oriented and able to translate complex workflows into structured processes while working with top-tier Blue-Chip clients, in a full-time,

Qualifications

• 3+ years working with an agile development team creating scalable applications from front-end to back-end.
• 3+ years of experience with: Creating API-based web applications using Ruby on Rails
• PostgreSQL or any relational databases
• Redis, or any NoSQL databases
• Ability to take ambiguous workflows and turn them into structured processes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable code
• Design and implement solutions with a preliminary understanding of edge case problems
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Follows established patterns and approaches within existing code bases with ease
• Collaborate with UX Designers, Project Managers, QA Engineers, and other Software Engineers to deliver production-ready products
• Help maintain code quality with code review and testing
• Work closely with clients
