Job summary

Black Dragon Capital is seeking an FP&A Analyst for One Dragon Services. You will drive forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis across our portfolio companies, delivering insights that inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.

You will report to the VP Finance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The role requires GAAP proficiency, strong financial modeling, Excel expertise, and the ability to communicate complex data to

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A / finance experience; 2+ years in financial services.
• Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/economics; MBA or CPA a plus.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Fast-paced environment; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen; cross-functional partnering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to portfolio companies on financial standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Prepare monthly reports, variance analyses, and executive presentations.
• Provide dashboards and insights to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasts.
• Assist with board materials and investor reports.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the financial health of portfolio companies.
• Support audit preparations with required documentation.
