Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, deployment automation, reliability, and operational stability of a healthcare tech platform. You will work with the CTO to strengthen AWS, streamline releases, automate provisioning, and ensure secure, scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production AWS environments including compute, containers, networking, IAM and managed services.
• Hands-on Docker production deployments and AWS ECS/Fargate experience required.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, Pulumi or equivalents.
• Strong Linux and shell scripting with Python automation for ops tasks.
• Experience with production monitoring, logging, metrics, alerting and incident diagnostics.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL operations in production incl. backups, migrations, and performance.
• Solid AWS security fundamentals: IAM, secrets management, least privilege, credential hygiene.
• Proficiency with AI tooling to accelerate infra engineering and automation.
• Reliability mindset: automate, reduce toil, improve resilience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cloud Infrastructure: AWS services for production and staging environments.
• Automate Deployment Pipelines: Build/maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Docker.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code: Provision infrastructure with Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation or equivalents.
• Strengthen Reliability and Observability: Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, alerts, dashboards and health checks.
• Improve Security and Operational Resilience: Enforce least-privilege, secrets mgmt and secure CI/CD credentials.
• Troubleshoot Production Issues across cloud, containers, networks, databases and integrations.
• Optimize Developer Operations: Automate setup, diagnostics and maintenance with application engineers.
• Leverage AI for Productivity: Use AI tools while independently validating all changes.
