Job summary

Canva is hiring a remote data labelling contractor for a 12-month engagement, working 35–40 hours weekly. You will label, annotate, and evaluate diverse media to support Canva’s AI feature training in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with the Data Labelling PH team and an in-house group, follow guidelines, and ensure high-quality outputs while meeting deadlines. Strong English communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multimedia designer with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and deliver tasks independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Basic knowledge of data annotation is a plus.
• Portfolio link or PDF showcasing top designs.

Responsibilities

• Labelling, annotating, and evaluating visuals per guidelines.
• Deliver labelled assets within set timelines and targets.
• Review and refine labels based on feedback for accuracy.
• Be responsive and communicate task deliveries and updates.
• Manage your own time to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Attend briefing and run-through sessions.
• Follow Canva’s data security and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with in-house team to align on quality standards.
