Job summary

Expedock is seeking a Cell Biology Specialist to remotely annotate high-content fluorescence microscopy data. You will evaluate phenotypes from Cell Painting assays and help distinguish true biological signals from artifacts in collaboration with ML teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on lab experience in Cell Biology or related field.
• Experience with high-content screening and multi-channel assays.
• Ability to interpret cellular perturbations and phenotypes.

Responsibilities

• Review and label high-content fluorescence images (Cell Painting).
• Identify genuine biology vs imaging artifacts and edge effects.
• Refine labeling schemas with ML teams and establish benchmarks.
• Present concise summaries of past image analysis work.
