BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Apache Solr to design, implement, and optimize high-performance search solutions for global applications. You will work on advanced relevance scoring, faceted navigation, and large-scale Solr deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on search technologies.
Proven expertise in developing and optimizing search solutions using Apache Solr and Lucene.
Hands-on experience configuring Solr schemas, relevance scoring, and faceted navigation.
Strong background in building and maintaining large-scale search applications.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Design and configure Solr schemas to support complex data models and search requirements.
Implement and tune relevance scoring algorithms and custom analyzers to improve search quality.
Develop and optimize faceted navigation and filtering to enhance the user search experience.
Manage and scale Solr clusters, including sharding and replication for high availability.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate search capabilities into large-scale applications.
