Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist based in the Philippines to join as an independent contractor. You will own on-page and technical SEO for client WordPress sites, conduct AI-enabled optimization, and deliver monthly reporting from Looker Studio.

You will work with Australian clients, align with AU business hours, and maintain a high standard of written English across client-facing copy and reports. This is a 100% remote, contractor engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, including agency experience managing multiple clients.
• Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) in real delivery.
• Editorial judgement to ensure human-written, high-quality content.
• Understanding of AI search and content sources for Overviews/LLMs.
• Technical SEO ability to read crawl reports and fix issues.
• Strong WordPress experience with Yoast/RankMath and page builders.
• Familiarity with GSC, GA4, Looker Studio for reporting.
• Daily use of Screaming Frog and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
• Excellent written English for client-facing copy and reports.
• Independent work style with strong prioritisation and home-office setup.

Responsibilities

• Own on-page and technical SEO across 10–20 WordPress sites.
• Run technical audits: crawl issues, indexation, redirects, Core Web Vitals.
• Optimise for AI search and structure content for AI Overviews.
• Use AI to scale tasks with human QA before shipping.
• Build repeatable AI workflows to speed up delivery.
• Conduct keyword research and map content briefs to services.
• Write and optimise page copy and meta data to human-sounding quality.
• Perform Google Business Profile local SEO for WA service area.
• Create monthly client reports in Looker Studio explaining changes.
• Monitor rankings/traffic/conversions and flag drops early.
• Migration QA: pre-launch checks and post-launch validation.
• Collaborate with developers on implementation and QA live changes.
• Advise Head of SEO and Perth team with proactive recommendations.
