Job summary

Global Pacific Support is partnering with a client to hire Data Encoders with AI/data-annotation chops to structure, label, and QA content for training and analytics. This is project-based for 2 weeks with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.

You will encode and label text/image data according to guidelines, use AI tools to speed up annotation while maintaining accuracy, and keep detailed records of work and QA outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data encoding/annotation or adjacent operations roles.
• Strong English and keen eye for detail; comfortable with style guides.
• AI-proficient with prompts/workflows and able to accelerate annotation.
• Spreadsheet fluency and comfort with ticketing tools.
• Process-driven; follows the playbook and helps improve it.
• Reliable under tight timelines and capable of shipping accurately, fast.

Responsibilities

• Encode and label text/image data according to clear guidelines and taxonomies.
• Use AI tools to accelerate annotation while maintaining human-level accuracy.
• Proofread and normalize entries (grammar, style, metadata).
• Hit daily throughput targets without sacrificing quality (we measure both).
• Flag edge cases, suggest clarifications, and help improve labeling rubrics.
• Keep meticulous records of work done (batches, versions, timestamps).
