Job summary

Alignerr is seeking AI Chatbot Testers to interact with cutting-edge AI systems and provide real-world feedback that helps improve safety, usefulness, and accuracy. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week and no prior AI experience required.

You'll hold open-ended conversations, evaluate responses for helpfulness and tone, identify issues, and design edge-case prompts. Work independently on your own schedule from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Naturally curious and comfortable exploring conversations across diverse subjects.
• Able to evaluate the quality of responses with objectivity and critical thinking.
• Clear and precise written communicator.
• Comfortable using chat-based tools and digital interfaces.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow structured guidelines.
• No technical background or prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Hold open-ended conversations with AI chatbots across a wide variety of topics and scenarios.
• Evaluate chatbot responses for helpfulness, accuracy, tone, and safety.
• Identify issues such as factual errors, awkward phrasing, inconsistencies, or potential bias.
• Design creative, challenging, and edge-case prompts to stress-test AI behavior.
• Document your findings clearly using structured feedback forms and rating rubrics.
• Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule.
