Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Associate in Taguig to join our Finance team in a hybrid setup. You will prepare and submit regulatory reports for BSP, PDIC, and other regulators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while supporting risk monitoring within Controllership.

You will drive reporting automation, coordinate with business units, and help implement process improvements to reduce manual effort and improve data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and related field demonstrated.
• Knowledge of BSP and PDIC regulations and accounting standards.
• Experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, audit, or related functions is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Results-oriented team player with effective communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory, statutory, and management reports for regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
• Monitor regulatory and accounting developments, interpret guidelines, and ensure adherence to BSP, PDIC, PSA, and relevant accounting standards.
• Coordinate with business units to investigate, resolve, and regularize reporting discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
• Drive reporting automation by defining report parameters, mapping rules, and system enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and enhance reporting processes, leveraging automation tools to reduce manual effort and risk.
• Support audit and compliance by maintaining high-quality reporting standards and minimizing findings.

• Prepare and submit regulatory, statutory, and management reports for regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with reporting requirements.
• Monitor regulatory and accounting developments, interpret applicable guidelines, and ensure adherence to BSP, SEC, PDIC, PSA, and relevant accounting standards.
• Coordinate with business units and stakeholders to investigate, resolve, and regularize reporting discrepancies, non-compliance issues, and abnormal balances.
• Drive reporting automation initiatives by defining report parameters, mapping rules, and system enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.
• Review and enhance reporting processes, leveraging automation tools and process improvements to reduce manual effort, processing time, and operational risk.
• Support audit and compliance requirements by maintaining high-quality reporting standards, minimizing findings, avoiding penalties, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Knowledge of BSP and PDIC regulations, Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), and the ability to apply regulatory and accounting principles effectively.
• Experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, accounting, audit, or related functions is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Results-oriented team player with effective work management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
