Job summary

LARGEN MED. INC. in Quezon City, Metro Manila, is seeking a dedicated Regulatory Pharmacist (RPh) for a full-time role.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across product registrations, labeling, and GMP practices, safeguarding public health and supporting the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate has a valid RPh license, at least two years in regulatory affairs, and strong English and Filipino communication skills to prepare regulatory

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist (RPh) with current registration.
  • 2+ years of regulatory affairs, QA, or compliance experience in pharma.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine pharmaceutical regulations and GMP.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regulatory compliance programmes and ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Conduct audits/inspections to verify GMP compliance and quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit product registrations, license renewals, and filings to regulators.
  • Review and approve products, formulations, and labeling for regulatory compliance.
  • Provide expert regulatory guidance to R&D, QA, marketing, and sales teams.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regulatory Pharmacist (RPh) to join LARGEN MED. INC. in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring our organisation maintains the highest standards of pharmaceutical compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory adherence. As Company Regulatory Pharmacist , you will be instrumental in safeguarding public health whilst supporting the company's operational excellence and strategic growth objectives. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of the pharmaceutical industry and maintaining our reputation as a trusted healthcare provider.

Key responsibilities
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive regulatory compliance programmes to ensure adherence to all applicable pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and guidelines set by regulatory authorities
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections of pharmaceutical manufacturing, storage, and distribution facilities to verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and other quality standards
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory documentation, including product registration applications, license renewals, and other required filings to relevant regulatory bodies
  • Reviewing and approving pharmaceutical products, formulations, and labelling to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Providing expert pharmaceutical and regulatory advice to internal departments, including research and development, quality assurance, marketing, and sales teams
  • Investigating and managing product complaints, adverse events, and quality issues, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Maintaining detailed records of regulatory communications, approvals, and compliance activities for internal and external audits
  • Staying abreast of changes in pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards, ensuring the company adapts practices accordingly
  • Training and educating staff on regulatory requirements, pharmaceutical best practices, and compliance procedures
  • Liaising with regulatory authorities, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders on behalf of the company
What we're looking for
  • Valid Pharmacist license (RPh) and current professional registration with relevant regulatory bodies in the Philippines
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or compliance within a pharmaceutical company or related healthcare organization
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine pharmaceutical regulations, including those issued by the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) and other relevant regulatory agencies
  • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), quality control standards, and pharmaceutical product development processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino, with the ability to prepare clear regulatory documentation and present findings to senior management
  • Proficiency in regulatory software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple regulatory projects simultaneously with strict adherence to timelines
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in interpreting regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of international pharmaceutical standards and harmonisation guidelines (ICH, WHO) is highly desirable
  • Experience with post-market surveillance, pharmacovigilance, and adverse event reporting would be advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams whilst maintaining independence in regulatory decision-making
