Job summary

Prime Infra in the Philippines seeks a Head of Regulatory to lead regulatory, permitting and compliance across hydropower pumped storage projects. You will secure permits, interpret laws, and shape regulatory strategies to enable project delivery and corporate objectives.

Responsibilities include leading regulatory strategy for WAWA Pumped Storage, overseeing licensing across projects, building government relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and mentoring the regulatory team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
  • 12–15+ years in regulatory affairs or compliance in energy, infrastructure, or hydropower.
  • Proven experience managing regulatory functions across multiple complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and permitting processes in the energy sector.
  • Established network with government agencies and LGUs is highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Support advocacy and policy engagement initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.

THE ROLE


  • Lead the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for WAWA Pumped Storage Project

  • Prepare regulatory reports, briefings, and updates for executive leadership and the Board.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the regulatory team to ensure capability building and succession planning.

  • Support advocacy and policy engagement initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.



Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 12–15+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, permitting, or compliance, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or hydropower projects.

  • Proven experience managing regulatory functions across multiple complex projects.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and compliance requirements in the energy sector.
