Job summary

Hospital Authority (HA) is recruiting Locum Non-specialist Doctors and Locum Specialist Doctors on hourly pay rates for address ing short-term operation or ad-hoc manpower needs.

Eligible doctors can register your information and work preferences; the Locum Office will contact you for detailed job arrangements. Pay rates up to HK$867 for specialists, depending on experience and duty hours.

Qualifications

• A qualification registrable in Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance.
• Fellow of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.
• Registered in the Specialist Register of the Medical Council of Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to patients in HA hospitals on a part-time basis.
• Provide mentorship to fellow doctors in the department on a part-time basis.

(B) Locum Specialist Doctor

Hospital Authority (HA) is recruiting Locum Non-specialist Doctors and Locum Specialist Doctors on hourly pay rate from time to time for addressing short-term operation or ad-hoc manpower needs.

We welcome eligible doctors to register your information and work preferences for providing part-time services in public hospitals of HA. Upon successful registration, you will be informed by the Locum Office. Should there be any locum job suitable for you, the Locum Office will contact you for the detailed job arrangement.

Pay

The pay rates are on hourly basis.

Commensurate with your relevant experience and duty hours, the hourly rate can be up to HK$780.

(B) Locum Specialist Doctor

Commensurate with your relevant experience and duty hours, the hourly rate can be up to HK$867.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical services to patients in HA hospitals, institutions and other medical services on a part-time basis.

Provide clinical specialist services to patients in HA hospitals, institutions and other medical services , and/or mentorship advice to fellow doctors in the department on a part-time basis.

• A qualification registrable in Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance.

Remarks

Details of work hours and work schedule are subject to the final confirmation by Head of Department, Unit or Section and to be mutually agreed.

The arrangement of pre-employment checks is exempted or streamlined for leavers rejoining HA as locum staff as per prevailing practice.
