Job summary

Magna Prime Chemical Technologies, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a materials analyst to support the quality control team. You will inspect incoming raw materials against approved specifications and conduct physical, chemical, and performance tests for dry-mix and coatings.

You will prepare lab reports, maintain documentation for traceability, coordinate with QC, Purchasing, and suppliers on non-conforming materials, and assist the Technical Manager as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials against approved specifications.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and performance testing for dry-mix and coatings.
• Compound RM to finished products and evaluate their performance as per specifications.
• Perform stability testing of the compounded finished product, ensuring shelf life compatibility.
• Align COA with internal test results and compare supplier COA based on evaluation findings.
• Approve or reject materials based on evaluation results.
• Prepare lab reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate with QC, Purchasing, and suppliers regarding non-conforming materials.
• Support trials and reformulations related to RM substitutions.
• Maintain updated raw material specifications and test methods.
• Record and archive evaluation data for traceability.
• Assist all activities of the Technical Manager as may be assigned.
