Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Cainta Rizal (RS City Square Near Robinson Cainta)

Department: Radiology / Diagnostic Imaging

Reports To: Clinic Manager / Radiologist

Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role ensures patient safety, proper imaging techniques, and adherence to regulatory standards in a primary care clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnostic Imaging & Patient Care

  • Perform X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other radiologic procedures as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Ensure accurate positioning and imaging techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic results.
  • Adjust and operate radiology equipment following safety protocols.
  • Assist patients in preparation for imaging, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
  • Follow radiation protection guidelines to minimize exposure to patients and staff.

2. Equipment Maintenance & Quality Assurance

  • Regularly inspect and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards.
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of images for physician review.
  • Maintain accurate records of radiation exposure levels as required by regulations.

3. Compliance & Safety Regulations

  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and radiation safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal radiology regulations.
  • Follow infection control and sterilization procedures for equipment and workspaces.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to coordinate imaging needs.
  • Provide clear communication regarding procedures and results to healthcare providers.
  • Educate patients about the imaging process, safety measures, and post-procedure care.
Education & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified and registered with the Philippine Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • PRC Licensed.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a clinic or outpatient setting.
  • Experience with digital radiography (DR) and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) preferred.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiologic positioning, and radiation physics.

Proficiency in using X-ray equipment and imaging software.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Notes
  • Full-time position based on clinic hours.
  • Work in a clinical outpatient setting with occasional patient transport assistance.
  • May require weekend shifts based on clinic needs.
