Job summary

AECOM is hiring for a Finance/Accounting role in the Philippines, offering hybrid work and a global project portfolio. You will contribute to reporting, budgeting, forecasts, and process improvement across multiple programs.

AECOM values collaboration, accuracy, and continuous development. The ideal candidate brings 4–5 years of finance experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Oracle or Blackline, working within internal controls standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
• Working knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls
• Experience working with ERP, e.i., Oracle and Blackline Systems is an advantage or other similar platforms and tools

Responsibilities

• Provide analyses of financial data and prepare reports.
• Assist in the annual plan and budget preparation.
• Support monthly P&L forecasts and budget reporting.
• Assist month-end processes with SG&A cost analyses and expense accrual summaries.
• Escalate issues to Team Lead and support junior members as needed.
• Maintain SOP/DTP of current processes and update documentation.
• Perform moderately complex tasks in line with SLAs and procedures.
• Propose alternatives and help resolve routine and unusual issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and customer experience.
• Participate in audit-related activities.
• Provide specialized expertise to projects and report updates to Team Lead and Manager

Job Description

• Perform assigned financial reporting requirements by providing analyses of financial data and preparation of reports.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual plan and budget.
• Support in the preparation of monthly P&L forecasts & budget reporting
• Assist in month-end processes by providing SG&A cost analyses and expense accrual summary reports
• Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead for timely. May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.
• Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
• Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.
• Propose alternatives in identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues.
• Contribute in various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
• Participate in audit-related activities.
• Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Team Lead and Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant courses
• 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Accounting
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
• Working knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and procedures and internal controls.
• Experience working with ERP, e.i., Oracle and Blackline Systems is an advantage or other similar platforms and tools
