Job summary

NTT LIMITED PHILIPPINES BRANCH is seeking a Quality Analyst to design, execute, and improve test plans across software projects. You will perform manual and automated testing, identify defects, and collaborate with developers and managers to drive quality.

The role requires experience with automated testing, familiarity with Xray for JIRA, and strong analytical and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is preferred, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role.
Experience with automated testing suites is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Xray for JIRA for test case and defect management.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Understanding of software development life cycles and testing processes.
Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate software functionality.
Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns.
Utilize automated testing suites to streamline testing processes and ensure thorough coverage.
Maintain and enhance automated test scripts to align with evolving software features.
Use tools like Xray for JIRA to manage test cases, defects, and reporting.
Track and document bugs, test results, and metrics effectively.
Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet scalability and reliability requirements.
Perform security testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Communicate findings clearly and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
Identify areas for improvement in testing methodologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance quality assurance processes.
