Job summary

SAGASS CONSULTING in the Philippines is seeking an Industrial Engineer to oversee quality for the 2nd Process, conduct verification of product quality, and implement necessary controls. The role emphasizes early detection of defects and ongoing Kaizen-driven productivity improvements.

The candidate must be a BS Industrial Engineering graduate, computer literate, and preferably have at least 1 year of experience in the rubber industry, ready to work onsite.

Qualifications

• Must be a BS Industrial Engineering graduate.
• Computer literate.
• Preferably with 1 year experience in the rubber industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles.

Responsibilities

• In-charge at quality for the 2nd Process.
• Conduct verification of quality of products and evaluate results.
• Identify abnormal conditions, changepoints and ensure implementation of the corresponding controls.
• Promote early detection of quality issues across all QC processes.
• Promote continuous improvement through Kaizen ideas specifically in productivity improvement.
• Genba checking to ensure compliance to procedures/rules.
