Job summary

Baldo Construction and Development Corporation is seeking a proactive Civil QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance on our civil, structural, and architectural works. You will develop and implement Project Quality Plans and ITPs, review drawings and specs, and ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, ISO, and local codes.

The role requires 2–5 years in construction QA/QC, a Civil Engineering degree, and preferably a PRC license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural works.
• Experience in industrial construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Review project drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (ASTM, ACI, ISO, local codes).
• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and architectural works.
• Witness and verify material testing (concrete, soil, etc.).
• Issue Inspection Requests (IR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and logs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Track and ensure closure of NCRs and punch list items.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and quality audits.

• Maintain QA/QC documentation and logs

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports

• Track and ensure closure of NCRs and punch list items
