Job summary

AquipCore is seeking a QA/test engineer to raise the quality bar on a .NET/Blazor codebase with automated tests spanning unit, integration, and end-to-end layers. You will handle web frontend and API testing, identifying edge cases early and ensuring robust releases.

You will work with Playwright for UI testing, xUnit/NUnit for unit tests, and collaborate with product leads to define acceptance criteria. Some travel to international sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing in a .NET codebase.
• Strong English communication and ability to work with clients.
• Knowledge of web architectures including REST APIs and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze features, identify edge cases, and help prevent regressions.
• Reproduce, isolate, and fix bugs; review PRs with a quality focus.
• Keep CI test suites fast and trustworthy.

Raise and hold the quality bar on a .NET and Blazor codebase — automated tests, catching issues early, and shipping the fixes. No industry background needed — we'll teach you the domain.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated tests — unit, integration, end-to-end — across a Blazor front end and an ASP.NET Core API
• Pull new features apart and find the edge cases before release
• Reproduce, isolate, and fix bugs; review pull requests with a quality eye
• Keep the CI test suite fast and trustworthy
• Work with product and domain leads to define acceptance criteria
• Ship production code for fixes and smaller features

About you

• Solid C# and .NET; comfortable in a large existing codebase
• Real automated-testing experience — xUnit/NUnit, plus a UI tool such as Playwright
• Sound grasp of web architecture: client/server, REST APIs, SQL
• Methodical and sceptical — you enjoy proving software wrong
• Git and CI/CD
• Strong spoken and written English — the role involves direct client contact and likely international travel
• Nice to have: Blazor / WebAssembly, EF Core, SQL Server, Telerik components; any exposure to construction, commissioning, or asset-heavy industries

AquipCore tracks the huge number of inspections, tests, and approvals needed before a large industrial facility (LNG plants, hydrogen, offshore) can be handed over and switched on. It's a .NET / Blazor web app on SQL Server, built and shipped through Azure DevOps.
