Job summary

Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure that quality, cost, delivery and production targets are met through thorough monitoring and analysis. You will prepare monthly manpower schedules and identify root causes of defects.

The role requires at least 2 years in QA within a manufacturing setting, engineering education, and the ability to lead teams while fostering a quality culture. A shifting schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any Engineering degree.
• With at least 2 years experience handling Quality Assurance in a manufacturing set-up.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001.
• Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and foster a quality culture.
• Proficiency in analyzing process capability data, statistical analysis, and interpreting test results.
• Strong verbal and written skills for reporting, training, and interdepartmental collaboration.
• Capability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Willing to work on shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that quality, cost, delivery and production targets are met through proper monitoring and analysis.
• Prepares monthly manpower schedule.
• Detect and analyze every defect encountered including root causes.
• Assists in the preparation of sectional yearly budget and ensures the effective management of all resources.
• Takes timely corrective action on deficiencies found during audits.
• Supervises operations of QA-Inspection booths & equipment in a day to day operation.
