Job summary

IDEMIA is seeking a Software QA Engineer in the Philippines to design and execute comprehensive test plans, focusing on functional, regression and UAT testing. The role requires hands-on API testing with Postman and strong SQL validation, working within Agile teams to ensure software quality for releases.

Candidates should contribute to CI/CD integration, document test results, and mentor junior QA colleagues.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Software QA experience with strong background in functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing.
• Proven experience creating test cases and test scenarios from business requirements, not limited to test execution.
• Hands-on API testing experience using tools such as Postman, including validation of requests, responses, and backend services.
• Strong SQL skills (MS SQL preferred) with experience validating backend data, database records, and system transactions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to support software releases and quality assurance activities.
