Responsibilities
- Plan, design, manage, and oversee infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems.
- Conduct site investigations, analyze soil and topography data, and create blueprints using software.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards; manage budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (often after some work experience).
- Strong skills in math, analysis, and design software like AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, legal codes, and safety standards.
