Job summary

Our Clients in Mandaluyong is seeking a mid- to senior-level software engineer to develop full-stack applications using Python FastAPI for backend and React for frontend.

You will focus on backend, APIs, and business logic, collaborate in Agile teams, and participate in daily stand-ups and demos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Experience with Python and React in a production environment is essential.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python FastAPI for backend services and React for frontend development.
• Primarily handle backend development, including coding, API development, business logic, and application functionality based on technical requirements.
• Design, test, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions to ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and cross-functional team members to deliver features and enhancements in an Agile environment.
• Participate in Agile activities such as daily stand-ups, iteration reviews, system demos, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with hands‑on experience in Python and React.
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI, with experience developing backend services, APIs, and business logic.
• Working knowledge of React and full-stack development, with the ability to support both backend and frontend development.
• Experience in Agile development teams, with strong programming, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
