Job summary

Alsons/AWS Information Systems Inc. in Cebu City is seeking a Python web developer with at least 3 years of Django experience to build and optimize web applications.

You will collaborate to design scalable solutions, write clean code, and troubleshoot issues using logs and the existing 300+ models core database.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python web development experience.
• Strong relational DB skills with navigating a large core database (300+ models).
• Strong Python/Django coding ability, including complex Django ORM queries.
• Ability to write custom code integrated into the study for non-core actions.
• Capable of troubleshooting using system logs and codebase to identify root causes and fixes.
• Analytical mindset and proactive initiative.
• Background in data structures.

Required Skills and Experience

• Have strong relational db skills (our core db has over 300 models and they need to learn how to navigate that)
• Have good Python / Django coding skills, specifically:
• Complex Django ORM queries - to write reports / integrations data extracts / etc.
• Write custom code that embeds into the study to perform custom actions that are not built into the core product
• Be capable to troubleshoot using system logs and the code base to identify root cause / bugs / and fixes
