Job summary

Your Simply Recycling LLC seeks a skilled Python Automation Engineer to build an automated pipeline that scrapes secondary-market auction sites for enterprise IT hardware and matches inventory to incoming RFQ demands.

You will implement asynchronous scrapers with Playwright or Selenium, handle proxies and captchas, parse unstructured RFQs, and power a match engine over PostgreSQL or MongoDB to surface high-margin opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python programming and automation.
• Experience building web scrapers for dynamic sites (Playwright, Selenium or Scrapy).
• Familiar with proxy rotation and anti-bot measures.
• Strong data parsing skills using regex, JSON, and NLP techniques.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases and fuzzy matching is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop asynchronous scrapers to extract inventory data from dynamic auction sites.
• Implement proxy rotation and captcha-handling to maintain data extraction.
• Parse unstructured RFQ texts and convert them into clean, structured data.
• Build a backend match engine to compare RFQ requirements with scraped inventory and flag opportunities.
