Overview

This company was established in 1955 in Japan and has a branch in the Philippines that was established in 2020. The company focuses on manufacturing products such as automatic ticketing machines and depositing machines.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and administration of the company\'s buying strategy
• Provide supervision and guidance to junior clerks and purchasing staff to ensure adherence to company procurement policies
• Review and handle purchase orders and requisitions accurately and quickly
• Evaluate suppliers\' performance and assist in maintaining vendor relationships
• Help identify cost-cutting measures and negotiate terms and prices with suppliers
• Take inventory every month
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff
• Maintain accurate purchase records and ensure timely updates to procurement systems
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve inconsistencies and delays
• Assist in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and alternatives
• Check compliance with internal controls, corporate rules, and procurement regulations
• Other tasks may be assigned by immediate superior
