Job summary

A long-established manufacturing company based in Laguna is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support procurement strategies and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has 6 months to 1 year of experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attendance at a face-to-face interview and offers a salary of Php15,000. Onsite work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months to 1 year experience in Purchasing.
• Experience working in a Manufacturing company is an advantage.
• Amenable to attend face to face interview.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing the company’s procurement strategies.
• Lead and mentor junior buyers to ensure compliance.
• Review, process, and manage purchase orders efficiently.
• Assess supplier performance and maintain vendor partnerships.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and negotiate with suppliers.
