Job summary

AboitizPower seeks a Field Asset Surveyor to map and document critical infrastructure assets on-site in Davao City. You will collect precise spatial data, validate accuracy, and maintain detailed records to support asset management and future developments.

Reporting to the Geographic Information team, you will collaborate with engineers and project managers, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering clear progress updates and quality data for company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering graduate or related courses.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to perform on-site field surveys in GIS environments.
• Experience with surveying instruments is preferred.

As Field Asset Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in accurately mapping and documenting our critical infrastructure assets . You will be responsible for conducting on-site surveys, collecting precise data using advanced tools, and ensuring the integrity of our asset records . You will work closely with the Geographic Information Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment .

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Asset Mapping and Documentation:

Conduct on-site surveys of infrastructure assets, including poles, transformers, and lines, utilizing various mapping techniques and technologies .

Accurately document the location, specifications, and condition of these assets .

Data Collection and Validation:

Employ surveying instruments, and other relevant tools to collect precise spatial and attribute data .

Rigorously validate collected data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to data standards .

Progress Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular progress reports summarizing survey activities, data collected, and any challenges encountered .

Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation of survey findings, methodologies, and equipment used .

Safety Compliance:

Adhere strictly to all safety standards, regulations, and company protocols during field operations .

Identify and report any potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues .

Team Coordination and Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate effectively with other team members, including engineers, GIS specialists, and project managers, to ensure seamless data integration and project alignment .

Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders as required .
